Update on the Art Show, Provider Dinner, and Mini Conference
In light of the growing health concerns around COVID 19, we’ve made a couple of difficult decisions regarding our larger upcoming events.
First, we have decided to postpone the April 18 Children’s Art Experience and Show. We will, however continue to collect artwork from children for display and continue to plan and prepare for the event. We will closely monitor the situation regarding COVID 19 and select a new date when it is prudent to do so.
Second, we have cancelled the May 7 Provider Appreciation Dinner. We will still honor the Dianne Meckler Scholarship winner and continue to collect Spotlights and stories for recognition, as well as create raffle prize baskets. Recognition “events” will take place online through our social media channels and website. More information about this will be shared as plans are developed.
Last, as you may already know, the Mini-Conference that was to be held on March 28 at the Doubletree by Hilton in Schenectady has been postponed. We are working with the venue to secure a new date and will communicate updates as soon as we have new information. Current registrations will be honored for the new date and full refunds will be given to those that cannot attend.
Training and workshops are being assessed on a case by case basis and either being cancelled, postponed, or moved to an online platform (Zoom). We will reach out directly to registered participants in the event of a postponement or move to an online session.
As always, we will do our best to continue to meet your needs.
Please stay tuned to our enews, website and social media channels for the latest updates as they occur.
