VISIT FARM TO PRESCHOOL (UNDER THE MARQUEE AT THE PALACE THEATER)

Farm to Preschool presents children with an exciting and hands-on way of learning and thinking about fruits and vegetables. With Farm to Preschool, we teach ourselves and our children where our food comes from and why gardening and locally grown food is an essential contributor to healthy families and healthy child care.

Farm to Preschool is a SNAP-Ed funded program focused, in part, on increasing access to affordable fresh fruits and vegetables for food-insecure families throughout New York State.

Club Fed is partnering with Food Connects, a program of The Food Pantries for the Capital District every week during the summer months to provide fresh produce free of charge. They’ll also be sharing valuable information about local food pantries and food programs to help you feed your family.

EACH WEEK, YOU’LL RECEIVE:

  • A free bag of fresh fruits and vegetables from Food Connects

  • An easy, low-cost recipe with a link to a cooking video showing how to make the recipe using in-season fruits or vegetables

  • Information about local food pantries and food assistance programs

LOCATION:

Outside The Palace Theater, under the marquee, 19 Clinton Ave Albany, NY
