REIMBURSEMENT RATES FOR MEALS SERVED IN DAY CARE HOMES INCREASED
CACFP provides reimbursement for nutritious foods that contribute to the wellness, healthy growth, and development of young children. The 2022-2023 rates reflect a higher annual adjustment for food costs and a temporary increase of $0.10 per meal and snack served, as authorized by Congress in the Keep Kids Fed Act.
You can be paid a maximum of two meals and one snack OR two snacks and one meal - per child per day
Effective from July 1, 2022, to June 30, 2023

Tier I = rates paid to providers who qualify as either low income or serve a low income population as determined by census and school district data.
Tier II = rates paid to providers who do not qualify for Tier I rate
