Provider Appreciation Day 2022

Starting May 6th, we would like you to join Brightside Up in celebrating and thanking our remarkable child care providers across the Capital Region!

In honor of Provider Appreciation Day, we are inviting you to "Nominate Someone Great” for a shout out on the Brightside Up Facebook page. Together, lets help elevate and recognize the amazing work of our fellow early childhood professionals.

It’s easy to Nominate Someone Great, simply send us an email that includes:

1.       The person’s name, program name, and email address

2.       An image we can share on social media

3.       A blurb about them explaining why they are awesome

4.       If your program has a Facebook page, also include your page handle so we can tag it

Plus—every nominee will be entered to win a $50 gift card!

We will be accepting nominations until June 10. Prize winners will be announced on our Home & Classroom podcast on June 30. Mark your calendars and be sure to tune in!

ALSO ON JUNE 30... We will be awarding the winner for the Dianne Meckler Scholarship! The Diane Meckler Scholarship was created and named after Brightside Up's (then we were the Child Care Council) first executive director to celebrate her leadership. The scholarship is awarded to a professional who has exhibited leadership in the field of early childhood or school-age care. To enter, complete the scholarship submission form which includes a short essay stating the reason you should be the recipient. Applications will be accepted until June 10, 2022 and the recipient will be announced on the Home and Classroom Podcast as well.
