Funded Infant-Toddler CDA to Begin in Spring Term 2021 at SUNY SCCC
Beginning Spring Term 2021
Earn 13 early childhood credits while obtaining your Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential. The funded program will include preparation for the CDA exams, portfolio development, field/work placement, tutors, and advisors. The program also includes the CDA textbooks, clearances, CPR/FA certification, and exam fees.
The CDA Credential is transferable to all 50 states, and several countries. Credits articulate into SUNY Schenectady’s Early Childhood Education Certification and AAS degree program. Course content includes but is not limited to health and safety in classrooms and outdoors, developmentally appropriate planning and programming, basic child development, supporting children's social and emotional development, building relationships with families and colleagues, and understanding regulations, and learning how to become a professional.
